Saturday in the Park

The ECA’s Fourth of July Parade and Picnic. —– Saturday, July 4, 2015 • 11:00 am • Edgebrook School to Wildwood Park

Edgebrook residents have rallied around the July 4th Parade & Picnic since the late 1930s.

The parade begins at 11 am in front of Edgebrook School. It proceeds west to Central, south to Devon, north on Lehigh, west on Hiawatha, and finishes at Wildwood Park.

Remember, everybody is welcome to take part in the parade. Make a float, decorate your bike, twirl your baton…the choice is yours! Years past, a band of Edgebrook parents played Jingle Bells the entire route because that was the only song they knew. Don’t be shy. This is your year to shine.

At Wildwood Park enjoy musical entertainment, starting at high noon and continuing through the games, burgers and brats, watermelons, old time outdoor games and more.

It’s a picnic. It’s a concert. It’s fun and games. It’s a good time. And it’s for all ages!
